Sea, country and Silves
The tour passes through Ferragudo before reaching Algarve cliff views over the sea and deserted beaches. It then turns inland to the Sítio das Fontes Natural Park and follows the River Arade to Silves, the oldest city in the Algarve.
After hills, valleys and a stream that carries plenty of water in winter and spring, the route reaches Silves Castle and the narrow streets of the old city.
